Shah & Shah Appraisers and Fine Jewelers has been quietly creating some of Washington's most enduring jewelry since 1929.  For four generations the small family owned house of Shah & Shah has been designing pieces to suit the individual personalities and tastes of their clients

Colin Michael Shah joined the firm full time in 2010, building on his extensive background in customer service to concentrate on sales and business operations. Michael and Faith are excited about the Shah name continuing into the fourth generation.

Michael Frank Shah is the third generation of Shah & Shah jewelers serving the Washington area.  He started at the age of twelve working for his father and grandfather - cleaning silver, sweeping sidewalks, and washing windows.  Absorbing the finer points of detail, design, and business.  Michael is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).  He subscribes to the "Old World" customer service values he learned from his family – honesty, quality and unparalleled customer service.

Faith Pettit-Shah is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and jewelry designer.  A dancer by training, she embraced her husband’s family business and is now the catalyst behind many exclusive Shah & Shah designs.  Shah & Shah Appraisers & Fine Jewelers, Inc. is proud to support several charities and non-profit organizations in the metropolitan DC area.  Faith works closely with Higher Achievement Program and is an active and enthusiastic member of CharityWorks.
